The average cost of college in April can vary greatly depending on the school and the type of degree you are pursuing. Generally, tuition for public universities is lower than attending private institutions. The three most affordable schools in terms of tuition costs for undergraduate degrees in April include the University of Michigan, University of California-Berkeley, and Ohio State University. The cost of tuition for in-state students at the University of Michigan is $14,826, while out-of-state tuition is $49,350. At the University of California-Berkeley, in-state tuition costs are around $13,431 and out-of-state tuition costs are around $42,191. Ohio State University has the lowest cost of tuition for in-state students at $10,726 and out-of-state tuition is $30,367. These three schools provide an affordable way to pursue college education while still providing quality education. With these attractive costs, more people are able to consider investing in their future by attending college.

April Scholarships for College Students

There are more than 70 scholarships available for college students to apply for that can help them cover the complete cost of their studies. You can even use some of these scholarships to pay for graduate school. The CME Group Foundation Scholars Program has a scholarship for minority students and college sophomores. Another scholarship with an approaching deadline is the LCNAA Scholarship Fund for undergraduate students. The Ally Financial Law Scholars Program calls for applications for college seniors and graduate students. The award amount for each of these scholarships is up to $20,000.

April Scholarships for High School Seniors

Your senior year is typically crunch time because the admission process for college begins around this stage. Besides worrying about your college admission, you may also need to figure out how you can pay for your studies. There are 40 scholarships, with various eligibility criteria, available for high school seniors to apply for in our Scholaroo database. Firstly, the Sara Scholarship gives up to $8,000 to female high school seniors who want to study at a college anywhere in the U.S. This scholarship does not restrict the area of study either, which is great for high school seniors who have not decided exactly what to study. The Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship awards up to $5,000 to a high school senior planning to complete a qualification related to computer science, engineering, and manufacturing at a vocational school in the U.S.

April scholarships for minority students

Minority students refer to those students who do not belong to the majority racial or ethnic group in the U.S. It includes, Black/African American, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Hispanic, Pacific Islander, as well as Native American.
