The Paradigm Challenge allows students to select one of the existing, real-world problems from the website and send in creative ideas, solutions or projects to be considered for the challenge.

Charles W. Riley Firefighter and Ambulance and Rescue Squad Member Scholarship Program

MHEC annually awards scholarships to Maryland residents who are actively engaged firefighters, ambulance, or rescue squad members, and wish to pursue undergraduate degrees in related fields in Maryland.

The Race for Education Scholarship and KEEP Foundation offers up to $5,000 to 11 undergraduate and graduate students in Kentucky pursuing a course in equine, animal science, or agriculture.

The scholarship program, administered by the Rural Illinois Medical Student Assistance Program, awards $4,000 to registered nurses seeking to become nurse practitioners. Applications are only open to Illinois residents.

Project Management Institute Educational Foundation offers the PMI Tulsa Chapter Scholarship of $2,500 to students in Oklahoma pursuing project management undergraduate or graduate programs.

Indiana Society of Professional Engineers offers the ISPE-EF Scholarship of $2,000 to college students in Indiana to complete their engineering studies. Applicants must be based in Indiana.

Real Estate Scholarship and Internship Grant

Real Estate Scholarship and Internship Grant, funded by the State of California Department of Real Estate, awards four students of any majors related to real estate a scholarship.

The American Academy of CPR & First Aid offers the Save a Life Scholarship of $1,500 to two college students each, pursuing degrees in healthcare and education in the U.S.

The Rodney C. Harmon Memorial Scholarship awards two scholarships to deserving students from Maine for continuing their post-secondary education. The scholarship is awarded based on merit, need, and community involvement.

The Society of Women Engineers scholars program awards nearly 300 new and renewed scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $17,000 to women in engineering programs.

Rhode Island Foundation provides a $500–$2,000 scholarship to support one Rhode Island woman who wishes to pursue post-secondary education or job training.

The Rhode Island Foundation awards college female students a $500 to $1,500 scholarship.

The Rhode Island Foundation offers James J. Burns and C. A. Haynes Textile Scholarship to a student from Rhode Island pursuing an undergraduate degree in textile at any accredited institution.

The Bernard Harris Scholarship Program awards four graduating high school seniors who seek to major in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) courses at college or university level.

This annual program provides renewable need-based financial aid of $6,000 to Rhode Island high school graduate students, pursuing an undergraduate degree at select Rhode Island colleges and universities.

The Rhode Island Foundation offers the Marilynne Graboys Wool Scholarship to a female student pursuing a law degree in Rhode Island. Applicants must be a resident of the state.

The Hawaii Education Association offers the Ronald K. Toma Scholarship of $3,000 to tenured HIDOE pre-K – 12 teachers and administrators to further their educational aspirations and professional development.

Hiroshi and Barbara Kim Yamashita HEA Scholarship, administered by the Hawaii Education Association, is for full-time undergraduate students presently enrolled in an accredited school to complete their studies.

In-Service Public School Educators Scholarship is for tenured or permanent pre-K – 12 teachers, assistants, or administrators, completing a State Approved Program leading to licensing, certification, or HIDOE ParaPro minimum qualifications.

The Kahikina O Ka Lā Scholarship awards Native Hawaiian undergraduate students residing in Maui pursuing STEM-related degree programs or Hawaiian studies at the University of Hawaii Maui College.

The Cory Richards Scholarship provides financial assistance to full- or part-time graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in public health or public policy relating to sexual and reproductive health and rights.

PREA Scholarship Program annually awards $500 to $5,000 to undergraduate and graduate students based on their financial need, record, and quality of their essays.

The Ofield Dukes scholarship awards $1,000 to public relations juniors with a commitment to community service. The scholarship is for students from ethnic and racial minority groups.

The NRF Foundation Next Generation Scholarship is a program for high-performing students in the U.S. interested in the retail industry. Selected students will be awarded $10,000—$25,000.

The North American Network Operators’ Group (NANOG) offers the NANOG Scholarship Program of $10,000 to one enrolled undergraduate or graduate in computer science- or engineering-related courses in the U.S.
