Scholarships for Native American Students

The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program of $2,800 is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students interested in advancing toward doctoral study upon completing their bachelor's degree.

The Scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in a teacher training program at a Connecticut college or university. Students in their junior or senior year and master’s students are eligible to apply.

The AIS Scholarship Program offers $500-$2000 in scholarships to 1,000 students.

The Minority Teacher Education Scholarship (MTES) is a renewable award of up to $4,000 a year to minority students in Florida pursuing education-related bachelor's undergraduate or graduate programs.

The NBCC Minority Fellowship Program is a $20,000- scholarship and fellowship program that supports mental-health counselors pursuing doctoral studies in the United States.

The Oracle Corporation, with the UNCF, offers 25 scholarships valued at $10,000 for undergraduate studies across the United States. Only African American, Hispanic, and Native American students are eligible.

Annually, Goldman Sachs awards from $10,000 to $15,000 each to Black, Hispanic, and Native American college and undergraduate students through the Goldman Sachs Scholarship for Excellence program.

The Chairish Design Your Future Scholarship is awarded to students from underrepresented minority groups and of all educational levels enrolled in accredited post-secondary institutions to further their education.

The National Science Foundation Scholarship for Archaeological Training will fund up to four Native American students or tribal employees with up to $6,000 for archaeological training or archeological research programs.

SAA Arthur C. Parker Scholarship for Archaeological Training awards one Native North American, Alaska Tribe, or Native Hawaiian student or employee for an archaeological training program of their choice.

The SAA Native American Archaeology Scholarship provides one Native American undergraduate student a $6,000- scholarship to obtain a degree in archeology or museum studies without the burden of education loans.

The scholarship is awarded to two qualified undergraduate or graduate female students enrolled in a full-time communications-related field of study. It’s accompanied by a summer internship in New York City.

The Conservation Foundation of Missouri Charitable Trust offers the Minority Natural Resources Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to undergraduate minority students to pursue natural resources management-related programs in Missouri.

Minority Advertising Scholarships program of up to $200,000 a year supports graduate students of minorities to complete their graduate and postgraduate studies in advertising, PR, design, and photography.

NAYA-PSU Scholarship

PSU along with the Native American Youth and Family Center offers this scholarship to current or former Native American student-members of the NAYA program for studies at a non-profit, college, or university.

The Miller Johnson Diversity Law Scholarship awards one $5,000 scholarship to a student of color who has been accepted to or is enrolled at an accredited law school within the U.S.

Intel awards the AISES Intel Growing The Legacy Scholarship to support students with scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The American Chemical Society offers the ACS Scholars Program of $5,000 to full-time undergraduate minority students in need pursuing a degree in the chemical sciences.

The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), in partnership with Aristocrat/VGT, offers the AISES Aristocrat Scholarship, ranging from $2,500 to $5,000, to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in a field related to casino gaming.

The AISES 3M Scholarship is for incoming college freshmen from American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, First Nations, and other indigenous communities of North America to enroll in a STEM-related degree.

The Kansas Board of Regents offers the Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship of $1,850 to ethnic minority high school senior students in Kansas to pursue undergraduate degree programs of their choice.
